3 arrested after Saturday night shooting in Denver at Colfax and I-25 – The Denver Post
Three people have been arrested after a shooting along West Colfax Avenue in Denver Saturday night that left one woman in critical condition, according to Denver police.
At about 10:45 p.m., police received a report of a shooting that happened along westbound Colfax Avenue at southbound Interstate 25. At least one suspect fired into a vehicle that left a woman with several gunshot wounds. She is in a hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to police.
At about 12:15 a.m. Sunday, Denver police officers saw a vehicle that matched the suspect’s vehicle’s description. The vehicle attempted an escape, forcing police to perform a pursuit intervention technique maneuver near West Byers Place and South Tejon Street. Three people attempted to flee from the vehicle but were all taken into custody after a “systematic perimeter search.”
A man and a boy are being held under investigation of attempted first-degree murder. The third person — whose description has not been revealed — is being held with possible charges pending, according to police. None of the suspects’ information have been released.
