Snowy, wintry weather hits Denver in late April

Denver will be 27 degrees colder than average Tuesday as it awakes from an overnight snowstorm.

Downtown stayed above the record low of 13 degrees, treading all the way down to 17 degrees. It’s expected to reach 41 degrees later while the sun breaks through, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. Tuesday night will drop to a low of 25 degrees.
